Green cabbage
1/2 head, thinly sliced
Cucumber
1, medium-sized, thinly sliced
Red onion
1/2, thinly sliced
Fresh dill
2 tablespoons, finely chopped
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons
Olive oil
1/4 cup
Salt
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon, or to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced cabbage, cucumber, red onion, and fresh dill. Toss to mix the ingredients evenly.
  2. To prepare the dressing, in a separate small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Gradually pour the dressing over the cabbage and cucumber mixture, tossing consistently to ensure all the ingredients are well coated.
  4. Refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the salad to absorb the dressing and the flavors to meld together.
  5. Before serving, give the salad another good toss to redistribute the dressing. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Tips
