  • Egg noodles (12 oz)
  • Unsalted butter (3 tablespoons)
  • Onion (1 medium, chopped)

  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Paprika (1 teaspoon)
  • Sour cream (1/2 cup)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, chopped)

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized, about 10 minutes.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir to combine.
  6. Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet. Toss to coat the noodles with the cabbage mixture evenly.
