Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
  • Chicken broth (1/2 cup)
  • Red pepper flakes (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Paprika (1 teaspoon)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Onion (1 medium, chopped)
  • Cabbage (1 small head, shredded)
  • Sausage (1 pound, sliced)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
