Ingredients
- 1 cup, coarsely ground Coffee grounds
- 2-3 sticks Cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 cup, broken into pieces Piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar)
- 4 cups Water
- 1-2 whole cloves Clove (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the water, piloncillo, and cinnamon sticks. If using, add the whole cloves for an extra layer of flavor.

- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and stir in the coffee grounds. Simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the coffee to fully extract its flavors.

- Strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into mugs or cups, discarding the solids.
