Calgary Stampede Spice Latte

A delicious and warming spice latte inspired by the flavors of the Calgary Stampede.

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon stick (for garnish)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Cloves (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Nutmeg (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Maple syrup (1 tablespoon)
  • Pumpkin puree (2 tablespoons)
  • Milk (1 cup)
  • Espresso or strong brewed coffee (1 shot or 1/2 cup)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  2. In a blender, combine the hot milk, espresso or coffee, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Blend until smooth and frothy.
  3. Pour the mixture into a mug and top with whipped cream.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
