Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp, freshly ground
- Ginger
- 1 tsp, grated
- Garlic
- 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup
- Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup
- Salmon fillets
- 4 (6-ounce) fillets
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and freshly ground black pepper. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved to create your flavorful glaze.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in a shallow, oven-safe baking dish. Pour the brown sugar-soy mixture evenly over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well covered.
- Bake the salmon in your preheated oven for about 20 minutes. The salmon should flake easily with a fork and have a beautifully caramelized top.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes to absorb the sauce.
- Serve hot, spooning some of the sauce from the baking dish over the top of each fillet before serving.
