- 8 slices
- Eggs
- 4 large
- Milk
- 1 cup
- Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon
- Ricotta cheese
- 1 cup
- Powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup, plus extra for dusting
- Chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup
- Butter
- 4 tablespoons
- Chocolate sauce (optional)

Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Dip each slice of thick-cut bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated. Allow excess to drip off.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, and chocolate chips until smooth and well combined.
- Spread the ricotta mixture onto 4 slices of the bread, then top each with the remaining slices to create sandwiches.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
