Plain yogurt
2 cups
Water
1/2 cup
Granulated sugar
2 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
Ground cardamom
1/2 teaspoon
Ice cubes
1 cup
Chopped pistachios or almonds (optional, for garnish)
1 tablespoon
Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the plain yogurt, water, sugar, and ground cardamom.
  2. Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and frothy, ensuring all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the lassi is chilled and frosty.
  4. Taste the lassi and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired, blending again to mix.
  5. Pour the lassi into tall glasses, and if desired, garnish with chopped pistachios or almonds and fresh mint leaves.
  6. Serve immediately for the best flavor and freshness.
