Ingredients
- Parsley (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Mussels (1 pound)
- Prawns (1 pound)
- Clams (1 pound)
- White wine (1 cup)
- Tomatoes (4, chopped)
- Green bell pepper (1, chopped)
- Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
- Onions (2, chopped)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a cataplana or large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onions, garlic, and bell pepper and cook until softened.
- Add the tomatoes and cook until they break down and form a sauce.
- Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer.
- Add the clams, prawns, and mussels. Season with salt and pepper.
- Close the cataplana or cover the pot and let it cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked and the shells have opened.
- Discard any shells that have not opened.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
