- Unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons
- All-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons
- Whole milk
- 2 cups
- Sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 cups, shredded
- Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup, grated

- to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the cauliflower florets in a steamer over boiling water, and steam until they are tender but still have a bite, about 5-7 minutes. Once done, drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk continuously for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
- Gradually add the milk, while whisking continuously, until the mixture turns into a smooth, thick sauce. This should take about 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat, and stir in the shredded Cheddar cheese until it fully melts into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper as per your taste.
- Arrange the steamed cauliflower in a baking dish, and pour the cheese sauce evenly over it.
- In a small bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture over the cauliflower and cheese sauce.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.
- Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving. This dish is the perfect accompaniment to a roast dinner or can stand alone as a delectable dish.
