Cauliflower Cheese

This creamy and cheesy cauliflower dish is a delicious and comforting side dish.

Ingredients

  • Breadcrumbs (1/2 cup)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup, grated)
  • Cheddar cheese (2 cups, shredded)
  • Milk (2 cups)
  • All (purpose flour - 4 tablespoons)
  • Butter (4 tablespoons)
  • Cauliflower (1 large head, cut into florets)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
  6. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Place the steamed cauliflower in a baking dish and pour the cheese sauce over it.
  9. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
