Servings: 4

Ingredients

Beef sirloin
1 pound, thinly sliced
Salt
to taste
Black pepper
to taste
Mustard
2 tablespoons
Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons
Bread rolls
4, preferably soft and crusty
Avocado
1, sliced
Tomato
1 large, sliced
Green beans
1 cup, trimmed and blanched

Instructions

  1. Season the thinly sliced beef sirloin with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the seasoned beef slices for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove from heat and let rest.
  3. While the beef is cooking, prepare the green beans by blanching them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until bright green, then transfer them to an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
  4. Slice the bread rolls in half horizontally. Spread a generous layer of mayonnaise on the bottom half and a layer of mustard on the top half.
  5. Layer the cooked beef slices onto the bottom half of the bread rolls, followed by the blanched green beans, slices of tomato, and creamy avocado.
  6. Close the sandwiches with the top half of the bread rolls.
  7. Serve the Chacarero sandwiches immediately and enjoy this delicious taste of Chile!
