Homemade Chai Latte

Ingredients
- Water
- 1 cup
- Chai tea bag
- 1
- Milk
- 1 cup
- Honey
- 1 tablespoon
- Vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon
- Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon, plus extra for garnish
- Ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon
- Ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon
- Ground cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon
Instructions
- In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add the chai tea bag and let it steep for 5 minutes to extract the rich flavors.
- In another pot, gently heat 1 cup of milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.
- Once the tea has steeped, remove the tea bag and add the hot milk, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cardamom, and ground cloves to the brewed tea.
- Stir well until everything is thoroughly combined and the honey is fully dissolved, allowing the spices to infuse into the mixture.
- Pour the chai latte into two mugs, sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top for garnish, and serve hot to enjoy its comforting warmth.
