Ingredients

All-purpose flour
2 cups

1/2 cup, softened
Granulated sugar
1 cup
Egg

Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
Chai spice blend
2 teaspoons
Salt
1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, chai spice blend, and salt until evenly combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Using a rounded tablespoon, drop dollops of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
