Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate, pressing it firmly into the edges. Set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain, then crumble it into bite-sized pieces.
- Evenly distribute the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese in the bottom of the pie crust.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper until well combined and slightly frothy.
- Carefully pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese in the pie crust, ensuring an even distribution.
- Sprinkle the chopped green onions over the top of the quiche.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the center and lightly browned on top. The edges should be golden and the filling puffed.
- Remove the quiche from the oven and allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Tips
- For added flavor, try mixing in sautéed vegetables such as spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
