Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper
- to taste
- Green onions
- 2, sliced
- Vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons
- Ginger
- 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic
- 2 cloves, minced
- Mushrooms
- 2 cups, sliced
- Chicken breast
- 2, sliced
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. This will be your stir fry sauce. Set it aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. This will ensure a quick and even sear on your chicken.
- Add the chicken slices to the hot skillet. Cook them until they are browned and cooked through, approximately 5 minutes. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir and cook until the mushrooms are tender, about 3 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Pour the previously prepared stir fry sauce over the chicken and mushrooms. Stir all the ingredients well, ensuring everything is evenly coated in the sauce.
- Continue to cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and the flavors to meld.
- Season the stir fry with salt and pepper according to your taste.
- Garnish the dish with sliced green onions before serving. This will add a pop of color and a nice crunch.
- Serve the stir fry hot, preferably over steamed rice or noodles, to turn it into a hearty and satisfying meal.
