Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk and hot sauce. Add the chicken breasts and ensure they are fully submerged in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat your waffle iron and heat your deep fryer or a large pot of vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix the flour with salt and pepper.
- Remove the chicken from the buttermilk marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
