Balti paste

Turmeric powder

Cumin powder
1 teaspoon
Coriander powder
1 teaspoon
Garam masala
1 teaspoon

2 large, chopped
Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  4. Increase the heat slightly and add the chicken pieces, browning them on all sides for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in the balti paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala, ensuring the chicken is well-coated with the spices.
  6. Incorporate the chopped tomatoes into the mixture and season with salt. Allow the mixture to cook for 5 minutes, until the tomatoes soften and meld into the sauce.
  7. Cover the pan and reduce the heat to low, letting it simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
