Onion
1 large, chopped
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Ginger
1 tablespoon, grated
Chicken breast
1.5 pounds, cut into bite-sized pieces
Balti paste
3 tablespoons
Turmeric powder
1 teaspoon
Cumin powder
1 teaspoon
Coriander powder
1 teaspoon
Garam masala
1 teaspoon
Tomatoes
2 large, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Increase the heat slightly and add the chicken pieces, browning them on all sides for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in the balti paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and garam masala, ensuring the chicken is well-coated with the spices.
