These delicious chicken tacos are filled with seasoned chicken, fresh toppings, and a tangy sauce.
Ingredients
- Lime (1, juiced)
- Sour cream (1/2 cup)
- Cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Red onion (1/2, thinly sliced)
- Avocado (1, sliced)
- Tomatoes (2, diced)
- Lettuce (1 cup, shredded)
- Tortillas (8, small)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Taco seasoning (2 tablespoons)
- Chicken breasts (2, boneless and skinless)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with taco seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the chicken into thin strips.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Fill each tortilla with chicken strips, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, red onion, and cilantro.
