Chicken Tacos

These delicious chicken tacos are filled with seasoned chicken, fresh toppings, and a tangy sauce.

Ingredients

  • Lime (1, juiced)
  • Sour cream (1/2 cup)
  • Cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
  • Red onion (1/2, thinly sliced)
  • Avocado (1, sliced)
  • Tomatoes (2, diced)
  • Lettuce (1 cup, shredded)
  • Tortillas (8, small)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Taco seasoning (2 tablespoons)
  • Chicken breasts (2, boneless and skinless)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with taco seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
  5. Slice the chicken into thin strips.
  6. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  7. Fill each tortilla with chicken strips, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, red onion, and cilantro.
  8. Drizzle with sour cream and squeeze lime juice over the top.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
