- Chicken breast

- Milk
- 1/2 cup
- Egg
- 1, beaten
- All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup
- Breadcrumbs
- 1 cup
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika
- 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil
- for frying
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until well combined.
- In another shallow bowl, mix together the flour, breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Dip each chicken strip into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Carefully add the chicken tenders in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooked, transfer the chicken tenders to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
