Servings: 4

Ingredients

Chicken wings
2 pounds
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Paprika
1 teaspoon
Cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon
Salt
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon
Hot sauce
1/2 cup
Unsalted butter
1/4 cup, melted
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a spice mixture.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them thoroughly until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the coated chicken wings in a single layer.
  5. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
  6. While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce by mixing the hot sauce, melted butter, and lemon juice in a separate bowl.
  7. Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the hot sauce mixture until well coated.
  8. Return the sauced wings to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.
  9. Serve the wings hot, garnished with fresh parsley or celery sticks, and enjoy!
