Hot dogs

1 can (15 oz)
Cheddar cheese
1 cup, shredded
Onion
1/2 cup, diced
Pickled jalapenos
1/4 cup, sliced
Mustard
to taste
Ketchup
to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Grill the hot dogs until heated through and slightly charred, about 5 minutes, turning occasionally for even cooking.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the canned chili until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  4. While the chili is warming, prepare the toppings: dice the onion and slice the pickled jalapenos.
  5. Place each grilled hot dog in a soft, warm bun.
  6. Top each hot dog with a generous amount of the warm chili.
  7. Sprinkle a handful of shredded cheddar cheese over the hot chili, allowing it to melt slightly.
  8. Add a sprinkle of diced onions and a few slices of pickled jalapenos on top.
  9. Finish with a drizzle of ketchup and mustard to taste.
