Vanilla ice cream
2 cups
Ground chili powder
1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
Granulated sugar
2 tablespoons
Cocoa powder
2 tablespoons
Whole milk
1/2 cup
Heavy cream
1 cup
Dark chocolate (70% or higher), chopped
4 ounces

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream and whole milk. Heat over medium heat until hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally.
  2. Once heated, add the chopped dark chocolate, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and ground chili powder to the saucepan. Whisk continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the chocolate mixture to cool slightly for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. In serving glasses or bowls, place a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  5. Carefully pour the warm chili chocolate mixture over the ice cream, ensuring each serving is generously covered.
