Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Ground beef
- 1 pound, 80/20 blend
- Chipotle powder
- 1 teaspoon
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Chipotle in adobo sauce
- 1 tablespoon, minced
- Ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup
- Hamburger buns
- 4, toasted
- Tomato
- 1, sliced
- Lettuce
- 4 leaves, crisp and fresh
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F to 400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chipotle powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined to keep the patties tender. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form them into patties, making a small indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing during cooking.
- Place the patties on the preheated grill. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness (160°F internal temperature for medium).
- While the burgers are grilling, prepare the chipotle ranch dressing. In a small bowl, combine the ranch dressing with the minced chipotle in adobo sauce. Mix well until fully blended and set aside.
- Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the grill and allow them to rest for a couple of minutes to retain their juices.
- To assemble, spread a generous amount of the chipotle ranch dressing on the bottom halves of the toasted hamburger buns.
- Layer the grilled patties on top of the dressing, followed by a crisp leaf of lettuce and a slice of juicy tomato.
- Top with the other half of the buns, press down gently, and serve immediately with extra chipotle ranch on the side if desired.
