Servings: 12

Ingredients

Unsalted butter
1 cup (2 sticks), melted
Granulated sugar
1 cup
Light brown sugar
1 cup, packed
Large eggs
2
Vanilla extract
2 teaspoons
All-purpose flour
2 cups
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Chocolate chips
1 cup (semi-sweet or dark)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish (or line it with parchment paper for easier removal).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing until fully incorporated after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well mixed.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined—be careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow the blondies to cool in the baking dish for about 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
