Ingredients

Bananas
2, peeled and cut in half crosswise
Dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
1 cup, chopped or chips
Coconut oil
1 tablespoon
Popsicle sticks

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them in half crosswise.
  2. Insert a popsicle stick into each banana half, creating a handle for easy dipping.
  3. Place the banana halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until solid.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and coconut oil. Melt in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
  5. Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer. Dip each banana half into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to coat it evenly. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
