- Salt
- 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Hamburger buns
- 4, toasted
- Lettuce leaves
- 4
- Tomato
- 1, sliced
- Onion
- 1, sliced (red or white)
- Pickles
- 4 slices
- Mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons
- Mustard
- 2 tablespoons
- Ketchup
- 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Gently mix and form into 4 equal patties, making a small indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing.
- Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness (medium-rare to medium is recommended for juiciness).
