Coconut milk
1 cup, preferably full-fat for creaminess
Vanilla protein powder
1 scoop (approximately 30g)
Frozen banana
1 medium, sliced
Unsweetened shredded coconut
1/4 cup, plus extra for garnish
Honey or sweetener of choice
1-2 tablespoons, to taste
Ice cubes
1 cup
Optional: Pinch of sea salt
to enhance sweetness

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the coconut milk, vanilla protein powder, frozen banana, shredded coconut, ice cubes, and honey.
  2. If desired, add a pinch of sea salt to enhance the sweetness of the shake.
  3. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or sweetener.
  5. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a sprinkle of shredded coconut on top.
