Cordon Bleu Burger

A delicious twist on the classic Cordon Bleu, this burger is filled with ham, swiss cheese, and a tangy Dijon mustard sauce.

Ingredients

  • Tomato slices (4)
  • Lettuce leaves (4)
  • Mayonnaise (4 tablespoons)
  • Dijon mustard (4 tablespoons)
  • Hamburger buns (4)
  • Swiss cheese (4 slices)
  • Sliced ham (4 slices)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Ground beef (1 pound)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 patties.
  3. Grill the patties for 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. Top each patty with a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese. Cover the grill and cook for 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  5. Spread the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the hamburger buns.
  6. Place a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on each bun bottom, then top with the burgers.
  7. Cover with the bun tops and serve.
