Ingredients
- Fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup, chopped
- Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup, grated
- Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon, freshly ground
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
- Garlic
- 2 cloves, minced
- Butter
- 2 tablespoons
- Green beans
- 2 cups, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- Corn
- 2 cups, fresh or frozen
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the corn and green beans, cooking for about 5 minutes until they are tender-crisp. Drain and set them aside.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the cooked corn and green beans to the skillet. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are heated through.
- Remove the skillet from heat and generously sprinkle the mixture with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
