
Country Potatoes with Bacon
A hearty and delicious dish of country-style potatoes cooked with crispy bacon.
Ingredients
- Green onions (2, chopped)
- Cheddar cheese (1 cup, shredded)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Onion (1 medium, chopped)
- Potatoes (4 large, diced)
- Bacon (4 slices)
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the diced potatoes and cook until golden brown and crispy.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is soft.
- Season the potato mixture with salt and pepper.
- Crumble the cooked bacon and add it to the skillet. Stir to combine.
- Top the potato mixture with the shredded cheddar cheese. Cover the skillet and cook until the cheese is melted.
- Garnish the potatoes with the chopped green onions before serving.
