Cozido à Portuguesa
Cozido à Portuguesa is a beloved traditional Portuguese dish that embodies the heart and soul of Portugal's rustic cuisine. - 1, sliced Blood sausage
- 1, sliced Chouriço sausage
- 4, skinless and boneless Chicken thighs
- 1 pound Pork ribs
- 1 pound Beef brisket
- enough to cover the meats Water

Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the beef brisket, pork ribs, and chicken thighs. Cover with enough water to fully submerge the meats.
- Bring the water to a boil over high heat, skimming off any impurities that rise to the surface.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and allow the mixture to simmer gently for 1 hour.
- Next, add the chouriço sausage, blood sausage, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, turnip, onion, garlic, bay leaves, salt, and pepper to the pot.
- Continue to simmer for an additional 2 hours, or until the meats are tender and the vegetables are cooked through. Stir occasionally and taste for seasoning.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the meats and vegetables from the pot with a slotted spoon and arrange them on a large serving platter.
- Slice the meats and serve with the cooked vegetables, drizzling some of the flavorful broth over the top.
