
Crab Cakes
These delicious crab cakes are made with fresh crab meat, breadcrumbs, and flavorful spices.
Ingredients
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
- Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
- Breadcrumbs (1/2 cup)
- Egg (1, beaten)
- Parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Old bay seasoning (1 teaspoon)
- Worcestershire sauce (1 teaspoon)
- Dijon mustard (1 tablespoon)
- Mayonnaise (1/4 cup)
- Crab meat (1 pound, lump or jumbo lump)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the crab cakes for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the crab cakes hot with lemon wedges on the side.
