Crab Cakes

These delicious crab cakes are made with fresh crab meat, breadcrumbs, and flavorful spices.

Ingredients

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Breadcrumbs (1/2 cup)
  • Egg (1, beaten)
  • Parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
  • Old bay seasoning (1 teaspoon)
  • Worcestershire sauce (1 teaspoon)
  • Dijon mustard (1 tablespoon)
  • Mayonnaise (1/4 cup)
  • Crab meat (1 pound, lump or jumbo lump)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the crab cakes for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve the crab cakes hot with lemon wedges on the side.
