Ingredients
- Baguette
- 1, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
- Lardo
- 8 ounces, thinly sliced
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons, plus more for drizzling
- Garlic
- 1 clove, peeled
- Fresh rosemary
- 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
- Salt

- Black pepper

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides lightly with olive oil.
- Toast the baguette slices in the oven until they are golden brown and crispy, about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even toasting.
- Once toasted, rub one side of each baguette slice with the peeled clove of garlic to infuse them with flavor.
- Layer the thin slices of lardo on the toasted side of each baguette slice.
- Sprinkle with fresh rosemary, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper.
- Drizzle a little extra olive oil over the top for added richness.
- Serve the Crostini con Lardo immediately while the bread is still warm and the lardo slightly melts.
