- White wine

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, salt, white pepper, and cornstarch. Toss well to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated and set aside for 10 minutes to marinate.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan. Sauté for about 30 seconds or until fragrant, being careful not to burn them.
- Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque, stirring frequently.
- Pour in the soy sauce, sugar, and white wine. Stir well to combine and let the mixture simmer for another 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
