Cucumber Melon Italian Soda

Ingredients
- Ice cubes

- Club soda
- 4 cups
- Water
- 1 cup
- Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup
- Melon (honeydew or cantaloupe)
- 2 cups, cubed
- Cucumber
- 1 medium, peeled and sliced
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the peeled and sliced cucumber, cubed melon, granulated sugar, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally to help dissolve the sugar.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the sugar to fully dissolve.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- After cooling, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
- Add the club soda to the pitcher and gently stir to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar or melon juice.
