Original recipe serves 4

Ice cubes
as needed
Granulated sugar
1/2 cup
Water
2 cups
Limes
4, juiced
Fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup
Cucumbers
2, medium-sized, peeled and sliced

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add the peeled and sliced cucumbers, fresh mint leaves, juice from the limes, water, and granulated sugar.
  2. Blend the ingredients on high speed until you achieve a smooth and well-combined mixture.
  3. Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve positioned over a large bowl or jug. This will filter out any remaining solids, providing a smooth limeade.
  4. Transfer the strained limeade to the refrigerator. Let it chill for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.

Tips

  • 💡 For a sweeter limeade, you may adjust the amount of sugar as per your taste.
  • 💡 For an alcohol-infused variant, add a splash of vodka or gin.
  • 💡 For a sparkling variant, substitute sparkling water for still water.
