Original recipe serves 4

Dried and roasted dandelion roots
2 tablespoons
Water
4 cups
Milk or non-dairy milk
1 cup (optional, for creaminess)
Honey or sweetener of choice
to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Once boiling, add the 2 tablespoons of dried and roasted dandelion roots to the pot.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
  4. After simmering, remove the pot from heat and strain the liquid into a separate container, discarding the dandelion roots.
