Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Chicken feet (2 pounds, cleaned and nails removed)
- Soy sauce (1/4 cup)
- Gochujang (Korean red chili paste) (3 tablespoons)
- Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
- Ginger (1 tablespoon, minced)
- Sugar (1 tablespoon)
- Sesame oil (2 tablespoons)
- Green onions (2, chopped (for garnish))
- Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon (for garnish))
Instructions
- Begin by thoroughly cleaning the chicken feet, ensuring that all nails have been removed.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the chicken feet. Boil for about 10 minutes to tenderize them.
- Once boiled, drain the chicken feet and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, gochujang, minced garlic, minced ginger, sugar, and sesame oil. Stir until well combined to create the marinade.
- Add the cleaned chicken feet to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator, allowing the flavors to penetrate.
- Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken feet along with all of the marinade.
- Cook for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken feet are tender and the sauce has thickened to a sticky consistency.
- Before serving, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for an added crunch and flavor.
