Sugar
1 teaspoon
Chinese black vinegar

Chicken broth
1 cup
Sichuan peppercorns

Garlic
2 cloves, minced
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground pork over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, chili oil, and crushed Sichuan peppercorns.
  3. Add the sauce mixture to the skillet with the cooked pork and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  4. In a separate pot, cook the fresh noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. In a small saucepan, heat the chicken broth, Chinese black vinegar, sugar, and sesame paste over low heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sesame paste.
  6. Divide the cooked noodles between two bowls. Pour the warm broth mixture over the noodles.
