
Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- White chocolate chips (1/2 cup)
- Semi (sweet chocolate chips - 1 cup)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Baking soda (1 teaspoon)
- Cocoa powder (1/2 cup)
- All (purpose flour - 2 cups)
- Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
- Eggs (2)
- Brown sugar (1 cup, packed)
- Granulated sugar (1 cup)
- Butter (1 cup, softened)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are still slightly soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
