Ingredients

  • White chocolate chips (1/2 cup)
  • Semi (sweet chocolate chips - 1 cup)
  • Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Baking soda (1 teaspoon)
  • Cocoa powder (1/2 cup)
  • All (purpose flour - 2 cups)
  • Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
  • Eggs (2)
  • Brown sugar (1 cup, packed)
  • Granulated sugar (1 cup)
  • Butter (1 cup, softened)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are still slightly soft.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
