Water
2 cups
Ground coffee
4 tablespoons, finely ground
Cardamom pods
6, crushed
Sugar
to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Once boiling, add the finely ground coffee and crushed cardamom pods to the water.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the coffee mixture simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent it from overflowing.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it to sit for 2 minutes. This will help the coffee grounds settle at the bottom.
  5. Carefully pour the coffee into cups using a fine-mesh strainer to filter out the grounds and cardamom pieces.
  6. Sweeten your coffee with sugar to taste, stirring well to dissolve.
  7. Serve the cardamom coffee hot and enjoy the warming flavors!
