Instructions
- First, brew a cup of strong coffee. A dark roast works best for this recipe. Allow the coffee to cool to room temperature.
- In a separate glass or a cocktail shaker, combine the cooled coffee, cinnamon, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and honey. Stir vigorously or shake until the honey is fully dissolved.
- Pour in the milk and stir or shake again to combine. The honey not only adds sweetness but also gives the coffee a silky mouthfeel.
- In a tall glass, fill it up with ice cubes.
- Slowly pour the spiced coffee mixture over the ice. The coffee should immediately start to chill.
- Give the iced coffee a final stir to mix in the flavors and ensure it's chilled.
- Serve immediately with a straw and a smile. Enjoy this invigorating, spicy, and sweet El Diablo Iced Coffee!
Tips
- For a vegan alternative, replace whole milk with almond milk or oat milk.
- If you prefer a colder drink, make coffee ice cubes in advance and use them instead of regular ice cubes.
- Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper and honey according to your preference for heat and sweetness.
