English Breakfast Latte

Indulge in the comforting warmth of this English Breakfast Latte, a delightful twist on your morning routine. The robust flavors of English breakfast tea fuse with the creamy sweetness of honey and milk, elevated by a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. This latte is a quintessential part of British tea culture, bringing the classic English breakfast tea to a whole new level of indulgence.

Serves 1

Ingredients

English breakfast tea bag
1
Hot water
1 cup
Milk
1 cup
Honey
1-2 tablespoons, depending on your preference
Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon, plus extra for garnish
Vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Steep the English breakfast tea bag in a cup of hot water for 3-5 minutes.
  2. While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Be sure to remove it from the heat just before it reaches a boil.
  3. After steeping, remove and discard the tea bag. The tea should be strong and aromatic.
  4. Pour the steeped tea into a blender, followed by the hot milk, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  5. Blend the mixture on high speed until it becomes frothy and the ingredients are well combined. This should create the perfect latte consistency.
  6. Pour the frothy latte into your favorite mug. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top for an extra flavor boost.
  7. Enjoy your English Breakfast Latte hot. Savor every sip as the sweet and spicy flavors dance on your palate.

Tips

  • 💡 For a dairy-free version, replace cow's milk with almond milk, oat milk, or any other non-dairy milk of your choice.
  • 💡 If you prefer your latte extra sweet, feel free to add more honey. You can also use maple syrup or a sweetener of your choice.
  • 💡 For an iced version, let the latte cool completely after blending, then pour over a glass filled with ice cubes.
