Falooda
Falooda is a delightful and refreshing Indian dessert that combines the unique textures of sweet basil seeds, soft vermicelli, and creamy milk, all beautifully layered and topped with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Sweet basil seeds (sabja seeds)
- 1/2 cup Falooda sev (vermicelli)
- 3-4 tablespoons Rose syrup
- 2 cups, chilled Milk
- 2 scoops Vanilla ice cream
- 2 tablespoons, for garnish Chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds, or cashews)

Instructions
- Soak the sweet basil seeds in water for 30 minutes until they swell up, then drain and set aside.
- Boil the falooda sev according to the package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes. Drain, rinse under cold water, and set aside to cool.
- In a tall glass, add 3-4 tablespoons of rose syrup at the bottom.
- Layer in the soaked sweet basil seeds and cooked falooda sev.
- Pour chilled milk into the glass until it is almost full, leaving some space at the top.
- Top the dessert with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Garnish with chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
- Serve the falooda with a long spoon and a straw, allowing everyone to enjoy the delightful layers.
