
Fava Bean and White Bean Dip
This creamy and flavorful dip is made with fava beans, white beans, garlic, lemon juice, and herbs.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh mint (1 tablespoon, chopped)
- Fresh parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- White beans (1 cup, cooked)
- Fava beans (1 cup, cooked and peeled)
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the fava beans, white beans, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, parsley, mint, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
- Serve with pita chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
