- Garlic
- 2 cloves, minced
- Honey
- 2 tablespoons
- Balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup

Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to create the glaze. Set this aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn a vibrant pink color and are cooked through. Once done, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the halved figs. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they soften slightly.
- Pour the prepared balsamic glaze over the figs, stirring to coat them evenly.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Toss them with the figs and balsamic glaze, ensuring they are well coated.

- Remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle your dish with fresh chopped basil.
- Serve hot. This dish can be an appetizer or a main course when served over a bed of rice or salad.
Tips
- Choosing ripe figs is crucial for this recipe as they contribute significantly to the overall sweetness and flavor of the dish.
- Try to use fresh, wild-caught shrimp if possible. They have a superior flavor and texture compared to their farm-raised counterparts.
