Fig and Brie Grilled Cheese

This delicious grilled cheese sandwich combines the sweetness of figs with the creaminess of brie cheese.

Ingredients

  • Butter (2 tablespoons)
  • Sourdough bread (4 slices)
  • Fig jam (2 tablespoons)
  • Brie cheese (4 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Spread fig jam on two slices of sourdough bread.
  2. Slice the brie cheese and place it on top of the fig jam.
  3. Cover with the remaining two slices of sourdough bread.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  5. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
