
Fig and Brie Grilled Cheese
This delicious grilled cheese sandwich combines the sweetness of figs with the creaminess of brie cheese.
Ingredients
- Butter (2 tablespoons)
- Sourdough bread (4 slices)
- Fig jam (2 tablespoons)
- Brie cheese (4 ounces)
Instructions
- Spread fig jam on two slices of sourdough bread.
- Slice the brie cheese and place it on top of the fig jam.
- Cover with the remaining two slices of sourdough bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
