
Fig and Orange Marmalade Glazed Figs with Bacon
These delicious glazed figs are wrapped in bacon and coated with a sweet and tangy fig and orange marmalade glaze.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh rosemary (1 sprig, chopped)
- Balsamic vinegar (1 tablespoon)
- Orange marmalade (2 tablespoons)
- Fig jam or preserves (1/4 cup)
- Bacon slices (8)
- Fresh figs (8)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut a small slit in the top of each fig and stuff with a small amount of fig jam or preserves.
- Wrap each fig with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- In a small bowl, mix together the orange marmalade, balsamic vinegar, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Place the bacon-wrapped figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the figs with the glaze mixture, making sure to coat them evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the figs are tender.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the glazed figs with bacon as an appetizer or as a delicious addition to a cheese platter.
