
Fig and Prosciutto Pizza
This delicious pizza combines the sweetness of figs with the saltiness of prosciutto for a perfect balance of flavors.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Balsamic glaze (2 tablespoons)
- Arugula (2 cups)
- Goat cheese (4 ounces, crumbled)
- Prosciutto (4 ounces, thinly sliced)
- Fresh figs (8, sliced)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Pizza dough (1 pound)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and minced garlic. Brush the mixture over the pizza dough.
- Arrange the sliced figs and prosciutto on top of the dough.
- Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese evenly over the pizza.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
