Ingredients

Salt
to taste
Black Pepper
to taste
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Balsamic glaze
1/4 cup
Fresh figs
6, halved lengthwise
Prosciutto
12 thin slices
Asparagus
12 spears, trimmed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Take an asparagus spear and wrap it tightly with a slice of prosciutto, starting from the bottom and working your way up, leaving the spear tip exposed.
  3. Place the wrapped asparagus spears and halved figs on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle the asparagus and figs with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the prosciutto is crispy.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
  7. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the asparagus and figs before serving.
